They are inspired by the Maccarrones de Busa and the Casareccie but they are neither. They are the Maccarrones! They go well with all traditional condiments and lend themselves to vegetarian innovations.
Our production process
To ennoble the quality of our ´raw materials´ Il Pastificio dei Profeti relies on preparation methods that are based on the ancient pasta-making tradition: the pasta mix is soft but elastic, it is bronze-drawn and then dried slowly at a low temperature.

We founded "il Pastificio dei Profeti" in Sardinia at the foot of Giara a Marmilla oasis in the heart of the Mediterranean. Our artisanal pasta is carefully chosen from organic durum wheat semolina of the highest quality, and made according to the principles of fair trade and respect for the environment.
